President’s Reception

Annual Fun

This 2022 fall saw the return of the President’s Reception on October 7th. A brand new outdoors community event venue in Alpine, L1920, was used to great success. And the event was hosted in-part by Alpine’s Urban Shindigs.

Once again, the Reception’s purpose was to report on the $95,000 value of education programs and support to the Alpine Union School District through the completed 2021-2022 school year, to acknowledge major financial supporters and some really hard-working directors; to award Proclamations of superb community service from San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson; and to have a fun time with good eats. And a surprise to all, Charles Wang of Supervisor Andersons’s Office brought along a $10,000 grant for the Wheel of Experts Enhanced STEAM Instruction Program!!!
